Sam Houston entry requirements: All adults - 18 years and older - who do not have Department of Defense (DOD) identification must be vetted and identity proofed for entry and unescorted access into JBSA-Ft. Sam Houston for participation in the AHFSH Youth Soccer program. Once approved, a visitor’s pass valid for the entire seasonal year, August 1 to May 31, may be picked up from the BAMC/I35 visitor’s center to gain entry into JBSA - Ft. Sam Houston for soccer activities only. YOU MUST SUBMIT A NEW REQUEST EACH YEAR. Please access the link below and complete all required information per the instructions on the form. The Visitor Control center requires a 10 day period to complete the vetting process, so please complete the form ASAP for all members of your family to include all adults that require entry into the post. If driving away from Fort Sam Houston on Harry Wurzbach turn right onto Winans Road at the traffic light on the northwestern corner of Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Continue on Winans Road (the cemetery will be on your right) through the first stop sign to the gate. After passing through the gate take the first left. This road dead-ends into the Youth Services Center parking lot. You may park there or along the road that passes to the side (south) of the building. There is additional parking at the School Age Services Building (at the corner of Winans Road and Dodd Blvd) and the Chapel (across the street from the School Age Services Building). It is strongly suggested that you park in the parking lot at the School Age Services Building instead of the Youth Center for games on the baseball fields. Parking areas are identified on the maps below. Please do not park on Dodd Blvd, which runs between the School Age Services Building and the chapel as the Military Policy may ticket you.
